Real Talk & Radiance: A Morning of Mom Magic in South Delhi

Motherhood is one of those journeys that no book can fully prepare you for. It’s messy, beautiful, exhausting, hilarious — and it gets easier when you’re surrounded by people who get it.

That’s why our second gathering, Real Talk & Radiance, was so special.

Held in a charming indoor-outdoor café space in South Delhi, this event brought together over 25 women — moms-to-be, new moms, and women who simply wanted to support and share. The goal was simple: to create a real, unfiltered space for connection, movement, and emotional release.

💬 Opening Up, One Story at a Time

The day began with warm introductions over fresh fruit water and herbal chai. But it wasn’t long before the real conversations began.

Through a guided activity called “The One Thing I Wish I Knew,” moms opened up about what caught them off guard during pregnancy — from random body changes to unexpected emotions.

“I wish someone had told me that it’s okay not to love every moment,” one mom shared. “I used to feel guilty for being tired or cranky.”

There were laughs, nods, even a few tears. And just like that, strangers became sisters.

🧘‍♀️ Gentle Movement & Stillness

After the chat circle, participants joined a calming prenatal-friendly movement session led by certified fitness and breathwork coach Ritika Anand. It wasn’t about breaking a sweat — it was about slowing down, tuning in, and honoring our bodies.

With soft instrumental music playing, the room turned into a sanctuary of calm. Women practiced simple stretches, grounding poses, and breathwork to ease anxiety and improve posture during pregnancy.

🧡 The “Let It Out” Corner

One of the most loved parts of the event? A corner space with a cozy rug, cushions, and a big poster that read:

📝 “Write something you needed to hear during your pregnancy.”

Moms left sticky notes with words like:

  • You’re doing better than you think.
  • It’s okay to rest.
  • You’re allowed to ask for help.
  • This too shall pass.

By the end of the session, the poster was covered in warmth and wisdom.
