“There’s something powerful about telling your story out loud — and realizing someone across the room is silently nodding because they’ve felt it too.”
That was the energy at our first ever “Moms on the Mic” event — a live storytelling and podcast recording night dedicated to the messy, magical, and deeply emotional journey of motherhood.
Held at a cozy studio café in Hauz Khas, the space was filled with fairy lights, hot chai, and women ready to speak their truth.
💬 Opening the Floor: Unfiltered, Honest & Real
We kicked off the evening with an open-mic format. No scripts. No pressure. Just raw, unedited stories of pregnancy, labor, loss, laughter, cravings, confusion, and growth.
Some women stood tall at the mic. Others read from journals with shaking hands. But every single voice — whether soft or bold — carried weight.
“I didn’t recognize my own body anymore. I didn’t know that was normal.”
“My biggest fear during labor wasn’t pain — it was being alone emotionally.”
“When my baby arrived, I didn’t feel love immediately. And I thought something was wrong with me.”
🎧 Capturing Stories for Our Upcoming Podcast
As each mom shared, our team gently recorded the audio to be featured in our upcoming podcast series: “Dear Mama, You’re Not Alone.”
The podcast will highlight real voices from moms in Delhi — a mosaic of emotions that new listeners will be able to connect with, cry with, and feel seen through.
Stay tuned — the first episode drops soon!

❤️ Why Storytelling Matters
In a world full of picture-perfect mom content, we wanted to create a space where real stories are honored — no filters, no pressure to be “positive,” just truth.
Because when one woman speaks up, it often gives another the courage to breathe a little easier.
