Pregnancy cravings are real (hello, midnight chaat runs 👀), but so is the need to nourish your body — and your baby — the right way.
That’s why we hosted “Bump & Bite,” a fun and informative healthy cooking workshop designed exclusively for expecting moms. From folate-packed smoothies to iron-rich lunch bowls, this event was all about eating smart, with zero boring vibes.
Led by the Best
Our star for the day was Chef Alisha Mehra, a prenatal nutritionist and plant-based chef known for making health food taste like comfort food. She kicked off the session by busting common food myths like:
“No, you don’t need to eat for two — but you do need to eat smarter.”

Moms Got Hands-On!
This wasn’t just a demo — it was an apron-on, spatula-in-hand kind of day. Moms chopped, stirred, blended, and taste-tested their way through every dish. Some even took notes for their home kitchens!
“I had no idea ragi could taste this good — and my husband will actually eat this!”
“The smoothie is going in my daily routine now. So easy and filling.”
The Vibe: Chill, Chatty, & Craving-Friendly
- We had a “Snack Bar” with healthy munchies like roasted makhanas, trail mix, and seed crackers.
- A Q&A corner helped moms get clarity on everything from food aversions to gestational diabetes.
- Everyone left with a recipe booklet, goodie bag, and a lot more food confidence than they walked in with.
And of course… a selfie wall that read:
✨ “Feeding Two, Nourishing Both.” ✨
Why It Mattered
Food during pregnancy isn’t just about nutrients — it’s about self-care, energy, and joy. This workshop helped shift the mindset from guilt or confusion to informed enjoyment.
We want moms to feel empowered in their kitchens, not overwhelmed by online articles and outdated advice.
